Performance will be assessed using HBS Grading Criteria and Mark scheme.
Guidance for improvement will be given in writing on the Assessment Feedback Form or on the StudyNet Feedback Form within 4 weeks of submission.

For each day or part day up to five days after the published deadline, coursework relating to modules submitted late will have the numeric grade reduced by 10 grade points until or unless the numeric grade reaches 40 for levels 4, 5 and 6 or 50 for level 7 (PG).  Where the numeric grade awarded for the assessment is less than 40 for level 4, 5 and 6, or 50 for level 7, no lateness penalty will be applied.  However, if a submission is more than 5 working days after the published deadline, a grade of zero will be awarded.


Detailed Brief for Group Assessment
1. Assignment Title: Charity Marathon PID (Part 1: Project Scope, Duration and Critical path)

2. Description of the assignment:

1)    This assignment is based on a fictitious project described in the Charity Marathon PID document. Your task is to determine the list of all activities in the promotion project, produce a project’s schedule in a form of a network graph which meets the time requirements of the charity event promotion project and to define the work packages that can be allocated to different team members.

2)    This is a group assignment, and the groups size should be 4-5 students.

3)    You should submit the following two files:

a.    one MS Excel with the schedule of the Promotion project in a form of a network graph;

b.    one MS Word document in a form of a report to include (i) list of all inputs and outputs of the Promotion project (ii) the precedence table with all project activities (iii) the network graph (iv) the critical path(s) (v) evaluation of the proposed schedule with respect to the project objectives (vi) list of work packages with description and assigned resources (vii) evaluation of the teamwork (viii) recommendations.

4)    The work should be submitted anonymously.

5)    All filenames should be in the following format: <groupname>_A1.

6)    Only one student should submit the work on behalf of the group.

7)    The report should have maximum 2 pages (excluding the title page).

8)    The title page of the report should include the group name, student ids of all group members, the word count and the Turnitin similarity score.

9)    All references should follow the Harvard style of referencing

10)  Failing to meet any of the requirements above will incur a penalty of 10% for all group members.

11)  Templates will be provided for both MS Excel and MS Word document.

12)  In addition to the above (i) each group should submit a groupwork agreement on Canvas second week of  the module, and (ii) provide evidence of the team work on Canvas.
